Beet Kraut
Gathered Threads’ Beet Kraut has just the right amount of sweet beet flavor balanced with the sourness of cabbage. Not overly ‘beety’. Even non-beet lovers will like it!

Caraway Sauerkraut
The Caraway Sauerkraut is a traditional spin on sauerkraut. Simply flavored and accented with caraway seeds. Caraway Sauerkraut goes well in all the traditional combinations you want sauerkraut- sausages, meats, vegetables, sandwiches (Reubens!). It’s also great as a side or just straight out of the jar!

Curry Kraut
The Curry Kraut is a diverse and flavorful blend of vegetables, fruits, and spices. It has qualities of a traditional curry combined with some chutney tones. Curry Kraut goes well with rice dishes, Indian cuisine, eggs, meats, vegetables, ona relish tray, and with many other foods!

Curtido is a traditional El Salvadoran and Central American ferment. It is often served with pupusas, but it is also great with tacos, burritos, beans & rice, eggs, and many, many other dishes! Our Curtido is only mildly spicy from the oregano, hot pepper, and onion.

Lemo-minty Radish Kraut
The Lemo-inty Radish Kraut is a unique & refreshing variety of Kraut. Flavored with parsley, lemon verbena, and peppermint, this culture incorporates some different herbs and vegetables into its recipe. Enjoy as you would any other Kraut, but the Lemo-inty also goes especially well with fish, seafood, or other vegetable dishes.

Translations from the German words — ‘Sauer’ = sour, ‘Ruben’ = turnips, and ‘Kraut’ = cabbage.

The Sauerrubenkraut is our house blend of turnips and cabbage. This culture is one of our favorites! It has a nice sour tang and natural sweetness & spice from the turnips.

The Green & Black-
The Green & Black is a smoky and peppery flavored culture! Made with 2 favorites – Kale & Cabbage. The Green & Black goes well on everything – sandwiches, wraps, or as an accompaniment to meats, vegetables, eggs, and more!

Ingredients: Cabbage, Kale, Water, Sea Salt, Black Peppercorns, Mustard Seeds

Tsukemono (TSKEH-mohnoh) – A Japanese word meaning ‘pickled things’, typically fermented vegetables. This Tsukemono is simple & sweet! Flavored with soy sauce, chives, and scallions, it goes well with eggs, rice dishes, stir-fries, meats, vegetables. It is very versatile and adds depth to your meal!

Ingredients: Cabbage, Water, Scallions, Chives, Gluten-Free Soy Sauce, Sea Salt


A traditional Korean style of Kimchi. Spicy and complex! Kimchi is a versatile addition to many dishes. Great with rice, noodles, eggs, fish, meats, other vegetables, wraps, sandwiches, and more!

Neck Pumpkin & Kale Kimchi
Our Neck Pumpkin & Kale KIMCHI is a fall & winter inspired seasonal culture. It’s amazing how the fermentation process transforms the pumpkin into a delightful and sweet texture and flavor. Accented with traditional Kimchi spices, this culture is versatile just as a traditional Kimchi is. Enjoy with rice dishes, eggs, meats, potatoes, on sandwiches or wraps, and more!

KKAKDUGI – Radish Chi
KKAKDUGI (Kkak-du-gi) – Kkakdugi is a popular style of Kimchi in Korea made with daikon radishes. Our Kkadugi features the daikon radish sliced, while traditionally the daikon is cubed in this ferment. It is versitle to go along side many dishes – eggs, rice, stir-fries, beans, soups, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and more!


Beets N’ Fennel-
If you love beets, you’re going to love the Beets N’ Fennel! Intense, sweet
beet flavor accented by fennel seed. Goes great with salads, grain salads, wraps, sandwiches, eggs, vegetables, and more!

Ingredients: Beets, Water, Sea Salt, Fennel Seed

The Costa Rican Chilero is inspired and crafted after the traditional Costa Rican condiment. Typically, you find it either pickled with vinegar or fermented. Many other Central American countries have their own similar Chilero versions. Variations include carrots, cauliflower, sweet peppers, garlic, and other vegetables.

Costa Rican Chilero goes great on EVERYTHING!
Use as a condiment on eggs, vegetables, rice dishes, burritos, taocs, wraps, salads, sandwiches, and more!

Ingredients: Carrots, Onions, Sweet Pepper, Water, Sea Salt, Hot Pepper

Fermented Salsa-
A cultured twist on salsa! Our Fermented Salsa is tangy, zesty, and mildly spicy! Use as you would your ‘typical’ salsa with chips, nachos, & dips, and also on tacos, burritos, wraps, salads, and more.

Ingredients: Tomatoes, Sweet Pepper, Onion, Sea Salt, Hot Pepper, Oregano

Gingered Carrots
Gingered Carrots is a classic vegetable pairing combination! Sweet & Spicy. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Great accompaniment to stir-fries, rice dishes, soups, or on salads, wraps, & sandwiches, and more!

Indian Eggplant-
Try something new! –Our cultured Indian Eggplant pushes the edges of traditional fermentation! This cultured eggplant has been fermented with a variety of Indian spices & onions.

Enjoy the cultured Indian Eggplant on a sandwich, wrap, salad, pizza, pasta, on a relish or ‘pickle’ tray, and also as a side with rice, eggs, meat or vegetables. It’s delicious!

Kohl Dill Pickle
The Kohl Dill Pickle highlights the crunchy nature of kohlrabi. Accented with dill, Kohl Dill Pickle makes a wonderful substitute for a traditional vinegar cucumber pickle. Enjoy straight out of the jar, with a sandwich, as a side dish, or on a salad.

Mustard N’ Mustard-
The Mustard N’ Mustard is our unique recipe of Mustard Greens fermented with Prepared Whole Grain Mustard. If you love mustard or mustard greens, this one is for you! Sweet, Sour, & a little Spicy! Great on or with wraps, sandwiches, rice, noodles, eggs, fish, meats, other vegetables, and more!

Ingredients: Mustard Greens, Prepared Whole-Grain Mustard, Water, Sea Salt

Rosemary’d Turnips
The Rosemary’d Turnips is a classic savory combination of turnips & rosemary. Just as they are great when they are cooked together, turnips & rosemary are wonderful when fermented together too! Rosemary’d Turnips goes great with other vegetables & vegetable dishes adding their complex savory, yet sour flavor, or with meats, beans, eggs, rice, and salads! Enjoy!
